/introduction
Aumen Film Co recently completed a video project for Family First Health (FFH) in collaboration with the United Health Foundation. The objective was to create a video news release package that would announce their grant partnership and highlight the key messages and information related to the initiative. The video aimed to feature remarks from the Governor, a program leader, a representative of United Health Foundation, and a family. The final deliverables included a ready-to-use, packaged story, B-roll footage for broadcast and print media, and edited versions of the video for various lengths suitable for the FFH and UnitedHealth Group websites and social media channels.
/challenge
The primary goal of the video project was to effectively communicate the details of the grant partnership between Family First Health and United Health Foundation. The key messages to be included in the video centered around the partnership's efforts to support underserved families with expanded primary care services, behavioral health, and wellness resources. Additionally, the video aimed to emphasize the deployment of "health connectors" in the community, who would provide in-home support to families, assist with accessing healthcare coverage, manage health, connect with providers, offer in-home screenings, and gather data on community needs.
/APPROACH
Aumen Film Co approached the project with an elevated documentary feel, using aerial and street view atmospheric shots to set the stage and convey the pressing need for the grant and partnership within the poorest community and its school. Despite a tight timeline, Aumen Film Co ensured that the quality and craftsmanship of the video were not compromised. The visual style aimed to strike a balance between capturing the energy of the community and avoiding any sense of exploitation or discomfort for individuals who may not want to be featured on camera. By employing a birds-eye view and a "driving-through" style, Aumen Film Co successfully captured the essence and vibrancy of the community while respecting the socioeconomic realities of the surrounding area.
/DELIVERABLES
Aumen Film Co delivered a ready-to-use, packaged story that incorporated remarks from the Governor, a program leader, a representative of United Health Foundation, and a family. The B-roll footage provided was designed to supplement the video package for broadcast and print media. Additionally, Aumen Film Co edited the video into various lengths suitable for different platforms, including a 90-second version for the Family First Health and UnitedHealth Group websites and a 30-second version for social media channels. The final video maintained an elevated documentary feel, adhering to the specified visual style and tone, and ensuring an engaging and informative experience for viewers.
/DISTRIBUTION
The video was strategically distributed across all social media channels of both Family First Health and United Health Foundation, maximizing its reach and engagement. Furthermore, the video served as a press release through the clients' websites, email newsletters, and was utilized for public relations purposes such as news channel releases. By leveraging these distribution channels, the video reached a wide audience, effectively conveying the message of the grant partnership and its significance in addressing community needs.
/IMPACT
Aumen Film Co's grant partnership announcement video project successfully communicated the details of the grant partnership, highlighting the expansion of primary care services, behavioral health, and wellness resources, as well as the vital role of health connectors in supporting underserved families. The video also raised awareness about the challenges faced by underserved families associated with Hannah Penn K-8 school and the impact of the FFH program during the COVID-19 pandemic. The video resonated with viewers, generating positive engagement across social media platforms and effectively conveying the message of the grant partnership and its significance in addressing community needs.
/CONCLUSION
Aumen Film Co's grant partnership announcement video project for Family First Health and United Health Foundation effectively communicated the key messages and information while maintaining sensitivity to the socioeconomic realities of the community. The elevated documentary-style approach, combined with the strategic distribution across various channels, successfully raised awareness and garnered positive engagement. The video served as a powerful tool to highlight the grant partnership's impact in supporting underserved families and addressing community needs.
